Ruth Family Farms is a five generation family farm located near the top of the state of Missouri in a small town called Downing.
We own and operate a grass-fed cow-calf operation which is antibiotic and hormone free. We also grow corn, soybeans, wheat, corn silage, and hay crops and pride ourselves in the integrity in which we take care of the land, raise our animals, and take care of our family and friends.
Our Beef Stick Process: Open range and grass fed
Our cows and calves are on open range grass.
We use an electronic identification tag system to track our animals from birth to finish. This allows us to track the performance of all animals and raise great quality beef.
- We hand pick replacement heifers (cows) to put back into our heard.
- The finest feeder calves are also selected at this time for our finish operation.
- Our feed rations are made specifically for our operation, using the grains and forage we raise on our farm.
